I was a huge Samurai Shodown fan and really enjoyed playing the arcade
version when it came out way back when. After seeing that it was
available for my phone I had to get it and reminisce about the carefree
days of my youth when Streetfighter, Samurai Shodown and Mortal Kombat took up most of my time.
The graphics are really nice, they are quite faithfully adapted from
the original albeit a little smaller. The weapons look good also. The
backgrounds are lush and colourful. One slight drawback is that the
special move animation or large slash animation doesn't look that
great. The arcade version had a very satisfying feel when you performed
a huge slash on someone and sufficient amounts of blood and this is an
area the graphics are lacking. Everything is well done though including
the main screen with the cherry blossoms falling in the background.
The game is in Spanish version but very easy to play.
