Papyrus can be synchronized with your desktop Outlook using the Nokia PC suite, including an item's note/description fields (For Symbian 7 or higher) that are missing when using the default calendar application.

Daily View

Today's events all on your screen
Alarm, private, note ,and recurring icons show for all appointments on the daily view
View category icons and leading rectangles for each item according to the appointment selected categories.
Appointment's subject text is colored to easily identify item category
Optionally set text size to display more data or for better visibility
Much better looking display than the phone's built-in calendar application
Custom scroll-bar that matches the look of your Papyrus display

List View

Full week display all at once
Showing one line of each subject for more information display
List view style offers a seven day look ahead display with maximum details, icons and category colors
Scroll backward and forward by weeks by moving the joystick left and right, and scroll up and down to view days
See your status icons for each appointment
Create appointments on the current selected date on the list view

Grid View

Full week grid display with one line subjects
Optionally set smaller font size for more data display packed on one screen
View mini leading rectangles for each appointment based on the appointment category color
Scroll through days and weeks using the mobile phone joy-pad
Create appointments on the current selected date on the grid view

Monthly View

See the entire month on one screen
A 20 hour timeline with category colors showing your appointments appear on each day
View category icons on each day rectangle on the monthly view
All day and anniversary icons on each day rectangle for days that include all day or anniversary events
Choose to show a Quick-View at the bottom of the screen that shows the current day's activities
The Quick-View has a larger detailed timeline for that day, with leading rectangles using category colors and much more!
Click on any day to switch to the Daily view for the selected day

Enhanced View Dialogs

Greatly enhanced view dialogs compared to the built-in calendar
View dialogs include full recurrence details when viewing recurring appointments
Any included notes show in the view dialogs for appointments
Scroll through phone numbers on the Subject, Location and Note fields and dial the selected phone number by clicking your joy-pad

* It is now possible to call a contact from an entry for OS 9.1 devices.
* All Date/Time editors in the "New/Edit Item" dialog are now single lined "Multifield Time & Date" editors (thanks to pcx).
* Undated tasks' "start time" is now set to the task's alarm if one is set (thanks to pcx).
* Cancel button now works correctly in the "New/Edit Item" dialog (thanks to pcx).
* Custom alarms for tasks and meetings are now set correctly (thanks to Dansco).
* Fixed bug that would crash Papyrus when trying to create future meetings (thanks to wasoota).
* Allday events' icon on the quicklist, in the monthly view, now appears correctly according to text size (thanks to MFY).
* Removed "Default Alarm" option from the "General Settings".
* Sync status of a task can now be changed from "Public" to "Private".
* It is now possible to paste text into an old or new note using the Nokia text copy/paste function.
* Softkeys' text now appears on the daily view, when "Theme" is enabled.
* Added a "Clear Note" option to the "New/Edit Item" dialog for removing notes from within that dialog.
* "Clear Note" now works from the main menu of Papyrus for items with notes.
* The timeline background is now transparaent on the daily view, when "Theme" is enabled (thanks to Fred).
* Fixed editing an event in the history (e.g. changing the Location or anything) with an alarm.
* Added "iCal Allday Sync" setting under "General Settings" that controls how Allday events are synced from iCal.
* Tasks' alarms are now not resetted when editting tasks with alarms.
* It should now be possible to re-edit categories for items, and be able to save the form (fixed "Save/Cancel" categories loop).
* Bottom bar's text on the Nokia 6600 now appears on the sides, as opposed to centered (thanks to Dahab).
* Fixed Hungarian localization crashing the "New/Edit Item" dialog (thanks to stsofi).
* Added a check to appointments. If their status is "free" they would not be checked with conflicting appointments (thanks to stsofi).
* It is now possible to use the date selector on "Date Only" fields in the "New/Edit Item" dialog (thanks to sezuan).
* Fixed completion inversion of pasted tasks (thanks to silicon).
* Deleting recurring events that run forever is now possible.
* Updated Hungarian translation (thanks to Papp_Attila).
