Here’s How It Works

1 Install and launch the SoonR client on your PC.

2 Manage which folders you want to share and be able to see.

3 Keep your PC running while you’re out and about.

4 Then from your mobile phone, you need only log in to your SoonR account. There, you will see your PC(s) and all your folders. You can access files, photos, and documents in these folders and their subfolders. If you’d like to search for files, you must install a desktop search tool, like Google, Yahoo, X1, or MSN desktop search onto your PC. When you launch the SoonR client, these search tools will automatically be detected and enabled, allowing you to search from your mobile phone.

What is AnyTime?

Until now, SoonR users could access files on remote computers only if their remote computer was turned on and connected to the Internet. Basically files on computers could only be accessed when the computer was online. Now you can access the files on your remote computers AnyTime, even if your computer is off-line (or turned off). This also provides the added benefit of giving you a secure backup of your information. Unlike other backup services, information secured with SoonR AnyTime can be retrieved and viewed remotely via mobile phone or web browser.

How Do I Know AnyTime is Activated?

There is a new interface element that has appeared in the browser interface. It is a gauge that shows how much storage space you have available and how much is used. You can click on the "What's this?" link to get more infomation about the gauge. Please note that this ONLY appears in the web browser interface, and not on the mobile phone interface.
